How do you teach?

Matthew 28:18-20 "Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.""


How do you teach?
It doesn't have to be in regards to the above verse, just in general: how do you teach?

Well, this isn't the most "spiritual" reply ... but I've been teaching sunday school (grade 11's) at my church for about a year and a half ... and what I've found is you really need to start the class with a game or activity, something to get the kids up and moving or at least actively involved. Even if it's really stupid and nothing to do with the serious content of the class, it really helps. They're so much more engaged during the rest of the class. There's been times where I've thought "I wonder if this game is too silly/childish for them ..." but it's always worked fine.

Oh, I'm not looking for the most "spiritual" replies. I just want to know how people teach, in general. The verse is just what got me wondering.
