many ppl ask this and its normal. Yes Jesus was a real person and still is. Only a believer and a person who has faith can answer that. I know his real because i experience him everyday. The holy spirit is inside of you. (Jesus christ) When i was born again i experienced him working on my life. Heck i am delivered from a mastrubating addiction. NO one can tell me "its mental" or anything. I prayed the simple prayer and had that one on on with him and boom. To a non believer it will never really go through his head because...well...he doesnt believe. Its about faith and nothing else. Plus he got me out of jail and inside there i took him into my life and wanted to follow him. God works is great ways becuase my cell mate was a believer and we had great conversations. I believe in a supernatural God who does wonders for me as i obey him and trust christ to continue changing me. So the conclusion is....you either believe or you dont. People who do....will let you know why and how he does wonders and answers our questions (The bible). ppl who dont will always be asking questions...ALWAYS. i want to add one more thing....what does one have to loose in taking that leap of faith with Christ?? Because dont forget that the devil is putting work in your life every single day. So one who doesnt believe goes hard for the devil. Thats a fact. thats most ppl are just plain unhappy and "unlucky" in life. But on who believes that Christ died for our sins and that we are forgiven and have the ability to live eternal life (not just in heaven). He is wise. Because the end really is near. and life is short as well.

I agree with LekryceMack. What I always say to those who want proof: You can't prove he wasn't the Son of God. Believing is the definition of Faith...and besides that fact let's say he isn't real. Let's say that 90% of the world has a mass delusion for believing in a higher power. Now, I can attest that as a Christian, I live a MUCH happier life than before when I was not saved. If I got to the end of my life, and some crazy thing happened where He wasn't real, well I lived a GREAT life. I lived a life much better than if I got to the end to find out He WAS real, but lived for myself in constant sin. The reason unsaved people seem to live such a good life in sin, is because the Devil doesn't have to hurt them. He has already won. If you don't believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and you don't believe that God is real, then the devil has already won my friend. Since he won, why should he hold you back? Just my thoughts :)

The earliest biography of Alexander the Great was written 400 years after his death.

The earliest account of Jesus (1 Corinthians 15) was written within 5 years of Jesus’ death. The earliest gospel, Mark, was written about 30 years after Jesus’ death. And the earliest non-Christian source, Josephus, wrote about Jesus about 70 years after his death.

I really don't see any room for discussion...

This question is asked everyday, from different peoples,
But we all know Christ existed and he is still existing.. a now born again atheist once said that they ask this question because they don't have the answers to it. And they really want to know the answer. you can read more of this at Christ in mind.. Divinely Inspired: HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT JESUS CHRIST REAL?

There are many secular Historians who wrote about Christ's existence. By denying him would be throwing away thousands of other historical documents by these Historians, like Pontius Pilot, King Herod, Plato and many others. If we open our minds and our hearts we can learn of historical truths that support Jesus's existence. Tacitus, who is respected by modern scholars for historical accuracy, wrote in 115 A.D about Christ and His Church.Flavius Josephus who lived until 98 A.D, was a romanized Jewish historian. He wrote books on Jewish history for the Roman people. In his book, Jewish Antiquities, he made references to Jesus. Keep in mind that these references are secular and anti- Christian, the point being is that there could not be any agenda in mind. They had no motivation to promote Christ, but to today's standard they are a reassurance to those whom doubt Jesus was real.

I hope this helps, God bless you !

I don't see how you quoting the gospel is proof of jesus's existence, maybe attempting for a divine symbolic one maybe.

It's accepted by even christian theologians Josephus is a forgery.

False. Not a forgery, but a few words have been changed over time. Some Catholic monk decided to put a fancy word in front of Josephus' mentioning of Jesus, making it seem like Josephus heralded Him as LORD. Which he didn't. But, Josephus' manuscript, after taking out added words, do clearly describe someone very similar to the one accounted in the Bible, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Onto the whole "Can We Use the Bible to Prove Christ" debate. Yes we can, but not definitively. Let me explain. Since the estimated time of the Gospels being written come around before 70 AD, I would say that disproves any legend/myths popping up. People who witnessed Jesus would have still been alive at that point and schooled the apostles and the people they were preaching to. So I woudl say that since people didn't deny Jesus' existence, that one can conclude a guy named Jesus lived who "appeared" to do the stuff the apostles were claiming. I'm not gonna start a "Was Jesus God" debate, but this clearly shows that the Jesus who is accounted in the Bible did exist at some point.

If its altered it is still a forgery to an extent... "So I woudl say that since people didn't deny Jesus" They wouldn't have to due to no one believing in him except for his own followers. "that one can conclude a guy named Jesus lived who " Jesus,Yehoshua, Yeshua, and christ were all common names, so i don't doubt that someone at that time period existed with that name. "but this clearly shows that the Jesus who is accounted in the Bible did exist at some point." With all the contradictions that shows no credibility, when most likely ever gospel writer expect one was never there to witness anything and it was all hearsay, that doesn't make it credible.

I like your play on words and different conditions to identify a person. The first biography doesn't mean its not the first account, because theres many around and during his life. If the josephus excerpt is a minor forgery, why consider it a source? I can find sources talking of a christ from 100bc - 100ad, along with a jesus. It doesn't make it crediable for a nazerathian jesus

So whats happening here is I am giving evidence for my claims. You have not given any. Where do you find the evidence supporting that his disciples never saw Him do anything? And what contradictions are you referring to? Give some proof for your claims.

A List Of Biblical Contradictions
Simple list of about 1% of the contradiction within the bible.

The only one to have ever supposedly met jesus is Matthew, if you read the bible you would be aware of that. All the others only seen him through vision or divine inspiration.
