a guy finds out from a friend that a girl likes him (and the feelings are not mutual) and he thinks "yeah, she probably does"

as opposed to this... a guy finds out that a girl that he really likes also likes him back, and he thinks "no way.. i cant accept that. that cannot be true.. thats too good to be true."

yeah, i dunno about that situation happening too often, but i do have some idea of why it could

whether they realize it or not, most guys want the thrill of the chase. they want to like a girl, then earn her affection. its wierd, but without the thrill of the chase, there are those guys who lose interest. Not me though. If a girl likes me, and i like her too.....then sweet! i see no problem.
