How do you answer someone complaining about why God allows hunger in the world, etc.?

How do you answer someone who always say If God exists then God is a bad person, why so much cruelty in this world? why God doesn't end war? why God doesn't save children? Why God doesn't help hunger?

I would answer him: Perhaps God wants you to help with these things.

I don't have much of an answer, but God expects people to accept the gospel, is man responsibility to obey, so why blame God when they are rejecting him, out of schools and laws and their lives and morals.

If everyone did what God wants them to do, these problems wouldn't exist. So it seems the question is, why doesn't God force people to do what he wants them to do?
