Well, He gave you four things by general revelation. You have a conscience, built-in morality, the ability to reason and externally, His creation, and internally, the ability to examine and admire it.
You ever seen a dog ponder the meaning of life, or a lion feeling remorse over its latest kill, or even a family of squirrels out on a tree limb admiring the sunset? No? Me either.
You have these qualities that set you apart from the animals, showing you are something different than they are, not their descendants which is evident because you did not inherit their traits.
Specifically, you have a collection of books, written over several thousands, by dozens of different people, in several different countries and backgrounds, and the book is seamless in its content and its design, pointing to a common author. Contained in this book are hundreds of prophecies, both fulfilled and future, including a prophecy that gives the exact day of Jesus coming into Jerusalem as King, the exact day. These prophecies give signature to these books as one who is outside of time, knowing the end from the beginning.
And contained in this book is the account of the sin problem of man, separation from God as a result, and God bringing man's redeemer into the world Himself, and doing so because He loves the man He made far above all other aspects of His creation.
It's really quite amazing.

I don't really know what I want to know.. I grew up christian and as I got older I started losing faith so I guess I was just asking to get a little bit of an encouraging answer. Thanks guys.. I just hate not feeling like I once did

I'm not entirely sure If I understand this question, but I know that I have asked it myself.
Faith, regardless of what it is in, should be faith based on evidence that is consistent with the truth of reality.
As Saint Paul pointed it out himself in 1 Corinthians 15:14: And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.
This statement about Christ is just as important as the question we could ask about the existence of God. Because ultimately, if God does or doesn't exist, yet alone whether Christ resurrected, changes the existence of objective purpose for mankind.
The best proofs that I have personally found in support in the existence of God is in philosophy, cosmology and cultural history (in terms of God's revelation to mankind). I strongly suggest that you jump on youtube and look up these names: Dr. William Lane Craig, Dr. John Lennox, Dr. Ravi Zacharias, Dr. J.P Moreland, Dr. Paul Copan, Dr. J.P Holding and C.S Lewis.

I'm sort of in the same boat. I chose to go to church and became saved all on my own when I was younger, My parents didn't go to church or believe or anything. Then I started dating someone who was very controlling and we were together for a long time, he told me I wasn't doing things right and wanted me to "act more like a christian" This control went on for a long time. When the control was finally released, I found myself lost. I had developed a walk with the Lord under someone else's terms. Now I had to try and find Him again all on my own and I was resentful. Resentful for all the time I had been under that control. I am finally letting the resentment go... but still find myself lost. I am sort of believing in God by default right now. Nothing else makes sense..everything else sounds so stupid. Evolution? Reincarnation? Sounds so dumb! God our creator is the only thing that makes sense... but what kind of relationship is that going to be if I just believe in Him because everything else sounds stupid.. *sigh* sorry for hi-jacking your thread.. I just need answers too!!

To madyjae and the OP: faith, like life, has its ups and downs. I have an incredible testimony, one that leaves no room for possibility that any one or thing brought me through other than God, and I STILL go through crises of faith. Stick to the truth, pray that God will release you from your anger and demons, and read the Word. I promise, if you do these things, God will help you, and you will become stronger, so that the next time this happens, you will be able to fight. Jesus loves you! Spend some time simply thinking on that statement alone.
Repeat it over and over again to yourself. Jesus loves you whether or not you believe in Him whether or not you love Him back. Jesus loves you even if you don't love yourself! Jesus loves you even while you go through things that may hurt. Turning your life over to Him won't mean things are easy, but it will mean that He will be there to hold your hand through it every step of the way.
I can speak for anyone but myself, But the greatest gifts that He has given me is the ability to be peaceful while I go through trials. I pray that Jesus bestows upon you that same gift.

I know God is real via experiences I have had. See Know God Personally for all the experiences I have had with God. I have put one here for you to read.
One morning I got up and walked into the hall and I heard a voice that I believed was God say "How would you like to be stabbed in the Valley". The Valley was known as the rough end of town, and the voice scared me a little, I wondered if I had done something to offend God. I had planned to go down to the Valley to ask people out to church as was my habit at the time. In the end I went anyway regardless of the fear. I walked up to the first person I met and asked him if he would like to go out to church. He said to me "I am an atheist, I don't believe in God". I just said "fine", but hoped to change his mind. He then proceeded to unbutton his shirt and showed me scar marks up and down his chest and stomach. He said to me, "I was attacked by a knife wielding man in the Valley some time ago and spent months recovering in hospital, How could God allow that to happen to me". Then I knew why God had said in the morning "How would I like to be stabbed?". God understood this man, but had a good plan for him. Some weeks latter this man came out to church and became a Christian.
