Certainly true. As you say, this is normal etiquette. But a certain someone doesn't seem to mind being rude as long as they are within the law.
Or you could just follow forum rules. And make your own arguments while not presenting the work of others as if it was your own. Which is plagiarism, even if the word itself is not used.If you look into copy rules you'll discover that excepts are considered fair use. If this were not the case then Google or any search engine could not provide any listings or information.
