  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

How do I?

First pray and ask God to keep your mind focused on Christ while you are spending time with God in prayer, bible reading, etc. Then continue to serve God (you may have to pray each time these thoughts pop up).

Then, is this fellow a single (unmarried) Christian who is dedicated to serving God himself? If he is, then pray and ask God to reveal to you the purpose for your meeting him to begin with. Pay close attention to following the Holy Spirit's lead on this matter.

If he is not a Christian, I would not suggest pursuing a committed relationship with him since this will interfere with your personal Christian walk and your desire to serve the Lord first and foremost (evidenced by the fact that to some degree it already has).

Most of all, commit yourself to carrying yourself in a way that God would approve of under such circumstances. He will guide you as you listen and obey.

Thank you so much for reminding me that I need to pray about this every time those thoughts pop up in my mind. I'll be doing a lot of praying, I think. lol.

He is a single(unmarried) man who has dedicated his life to serving God.

You're advice is awesome. Thank you so much. Bless you. :)
