How do I set-up a Sony Playstation 1 to a T.V.?

Hi, I got a free Sony Playstation from a friend and it didn't come with any information on how to hook it up to a T.V.. How do I hook it up to a T.V.?

It's been a while since I've set up a PS to a TV but as I recall, look on the back of your VCR for the 3 coloured hook-ins (red, white and yellow) and then find the corresponding cables from the PS and attach them. Then switch over to Video 1 on your VCR and it should work.
