I would like to know how you, TE's, figure life started? Did God hand create the cell? Or did it some how evolve through chemical compounds coming together?

Secondly have you read Darwin's Black Box by Michael Behe? If so, did it affect the way you thought?

I'm sure that many of you would like to share.

While Evolution deals with the changes in life forms, the creation of life itself is not covered in Evolution, TE or not. So, we TE's believe God created life--period
I've not red the book

God created life. Whether he poofed it into existence or used a natural process doesn't change that. I personally lean to a natural process as more in keeping with how God created other things. The sharp distinction between natural and supernatural is a fairly modern concept not known in biblical times and not in keeping with scientific discoveries of the last century either.

No, I haven't read Behe.

Of course God created life, but I am not sure if we will ever know for sure whether he waited until the earth was in the proper state and then waved His hand and life appeared, or whether He established all the processes by which life would emerge and then let it happen according to that plan.

I have read Behe's book and found it seriously unpersuasive. Michael Denton did a better job in his "Evolution: a Theory in Crisis", but he has now fully accepted that macro-evolution has occurred, just finding that God has been involved in the process throughout.

The best explaination for the first life that we have today is amino acids forming and linking together to form protien chains. The protien chains were much simpler than the ones found in modern day cells. These were the building blocks for early anaerobic protocells, the first "living" organisms.
