how could I make things right with God

I been having trouble lately. I've been caught up in the world and doing the samething as the un saved. I lost sight of God and havent prayed for awhile. I wonder if God would take me back. I feel bad that I'm not faithful and I feel depressed like something is missing and I know is Jesus

I don't know who you are, but I know this. No person is bad, even you. The Lord loves you, no matter how many times that you slip and fall. He also knows your heart. He will work with you, so don't give up.....

Do not wonder if God would take you back. Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Do not fear. Just be humble, repent, and trust in the Lord. He suffered all things for you. Are you not, then, worth forgiving? Are you not, then, worth taking back? Yes, you are! Call upon the Lord. Wait upon Him. He is mighty to save!


Psalms 86:5
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

Matthew 11:28-29
28 ¶ Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

1 John 1:9
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Forgiveness is there for a reason. You just need to repent and ask for it.

Read about the prodigal son. God is that Father. He runs out to meet those who went away from Him, when they return. His heart is aching for you. Just like it says here too:

JER 31:20 Is not Ephraim my dear son, the child in whom I delight? Though I often speak against him, I still remember him. Therefore my heart yearns for him; I have great compassion for him," declares the LORD.
(Ephraim is disobedient, but the God, the Father, yearns for him because he loves him)
LUK 15:20 "So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long distance away, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.
21 His son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, and I am no longer worthy of being called your son.'
22 "But his father said to the servants, 'Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger, and sandals for his feet.
23 And kill the calf we have been fattening in the pen. We must celebrate with a feast,
24 for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.' So the party began.

God would love for you to come back to Him.

The way you do it is this:

Jesus said: nobody comes to the Father, but by me. So you need to find Jesus. And Jesus also said: study the scriptures, for they talk about me.

Faith comes from studying the scriptures. So take the Gospel of John and then the Gospel of Matthew and then the epistles and start to DILIGENTLY reading those. Read them slowly. Let each message sink deep into your heart. Read the post about how you can make the Bible reading interesting:

And once you start to get into it, the Holy Spirit will touch your heart and you will be able to draw closer to God.
Also, remember, God is not religion. You don't just ask Jesus into your heart and then just ignore Him. Jesus, by His Spirit lives in you and wants to talk to you DAILY. Talk to Him. Think about Him. Praise Him. Adore Him. He loves to hear us talk to Him. His emotions are like ours. He loves fellowship. Our purpose in life is to find HIM, nothing else. So find Him (inside of you, in your heart). Listen to your heart, He speaks to us through our thoughts sometimes. He sometimes speaks to us through songs and verses and sermons and other people. So if you hear something answering your soul questions, know, that it's Him, talking back to you. Talk to Him in your thoughts because He is near you and He hears you.

What have you been caught up in? How long has it been since you worshipped God?

Hebrews 13:5

.... For God has said, “I will never fail you.I will never abandon you.”

God has never let you go. He doesn't have to take you back because He already has you. Just ask Him to forgive you and to strengthen you so that you can live according to His will and not fall into temptation.

God loves you. Just come back to Him. He is loving God and wants your best. But try to make this one a stay. Keep going. He knows that you aren't perfect. Don't give up. Keep going.

Never beat yourself up. God is always there and never will leave you. Read the word more and tell God about the things you do that you feel isn't right and ask for his help. He will help you. You can not be in contact with God or have a relationship with the Lord and remain the same. That I promise you. Even if you didn't change anything something would be changed!

Somethings God changes automatically
Somethings require Faith- not even great Faith
Somethings require Great Faith
Somethings require for you to move first then God steps in

God is great and loves his children so I all I can say is spend more time with God.
