How can you tell when someone's speaking full truth, and when they're speaking lies with some truth thrown in?

(To me, the second is more deceptive, especially when their seems to be sturdy reasoning.)

I know that Biblical truth will be supported by Scripture. But then again, Satan used Scripture to support his lies. My brain is muddled on something, and I wanted advice on how to separate truth from truth-looking lies.

THANKS in advance!

God is 100% pure. Not 99.99% or some mixture. God is truth. The Bible says that Jesus is the way ,the truth and the life.

So one way to know whether something is pure truth or not is to consider the source. Only God or someone speaking for God will have 100% pure truth. I fit is someone speaking for God , then it is not their truth . It is God's truth. It might sound cliche , but we do not have any truth within ourselves. Christianity is a religion based upon God revealing truth. Not based upon man figuring out things. Man's truth is always impure and has mixed in impure motives and issues.

The only 100% pure dependable truth is found in God himself. So unless it is direct truth form God himself , then it is possible for it to not be pure.
