How can I live with myself, I have betrayed our Lord... Have I committed the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, the unpardonable sin? Calling evil, what is holy?

The more I studied scripture, and especially Jesus words, the deeper I dug, the possibility that Jesus, was the Devil in disguise, I started asking him if it was "fun"? Did he get a good laugh? As we try to bend, and warp our minds around concepts which only you (Jesus) could understand... Hiding secrets in riddles, and parables, NOT outright explaining something plainly, that only you knew and were "capable" of outright explaining, but, instead, you "hid" it, oh, I'm so tired of these games, why these games?

I outright accused Jesus, in a thread of being Satan, or the Devil in disguise, this is what the Pharisees who would not follow Jesus, thought about Jesus...

How do I forgive myself for even having these lines of thought?

Help?

God Bless!

There's several interpretations of the Scripture about blasphemy. But you being concerned about this reflects your true heart. We know that Yeshua is in the heart business (Psa 9:1, Prov 3:5, 4:23, 23:26, Philippians 4:7, ++).

I've spent many years frustrated with God, even screeming obscenities at Him.
He knows your heart and that you are struggling. He's not going to cast you aside.
Get on your knees, ask for His forgivness and make a new start.
He is waiting for that.
Remember when Peter denied Him 3 times? When Jesus turned and looked at Peter at that moment I am persuaded that there was so much love in His eyes that Peter could not bare to see.

Alright, f-it... Was it "fun" for you Jesus? Did you laugh? Do we keep you "entertained"? Do you use lesser creatures for your entertainment and amusement?

Cloaked and shrouded and covered by, mystery... Mysterious cloak, a covering that needs to come off, can we "know" you, the real you, uncloaked, Jesus?

Oh, but you say "It's like a father, to a young son or daughter, when you get a gift, you wrap it, right, and the purpose is to tear off the wrapping to reveal the gift inside, well, that's like parables and God's gifts...

Do you, or do you "allow" or "permit" your sons and daughters to suffer abuse?

And the torment goes on and on and on...

My belief on the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is that even if you DID commit blasphemy of the spirit, that you can still go to heaven even with that permanent mark on your slate. But, God knows we have doubts. God knows we make mistakes. God knows your heart. Don't beat yourself up. Pick yourself up and walk away from what you did. Dwelling on it is not a good idea.

My belief as a Calvinist is that Jesus hid His true meanings from the non-elect. He wanted only the Elected Christians to understand Him and he hid it from those hearts he had hardened. God knows who will choose to follow Him and those who wouldn't listen were used to carry out His plan of having Jesus crucified for the many who would accept Him.

You need some patience with yourself, and stop thinking that you ought to be a genius to understand everything Jesus said and the apostles wrote. I have been studying the Bible for 40 years and still learning. Christianity is not a place of arrival, but it is a journey, a WAY. It is a walk with God for a brief time of 80 years. Why not ask God your question, and then wait for Him to answer? Your answer might not come immediately, and might not come in the form you expect or want. Sometimes I asked God a question, and got the answer a year later; one time 7 years later (and what a powerful answer that was!). Sometimes I went through the whole Bible trying to get an answer to a single question, and got the answers every time. Needless to say, I've read the Bible many times, and still learning. And still learning to live the truths therein. Have patience and persevere.

It takes a lot of pressure to make a diamond. You can either wait on Him to continue the work He is wanting to do in you, or you can do it the way I did. I had a "need", I'll call it, that I wanted Him to do, but like you, I became angry and kicked against the way He was going about it. Therefore, the answer I wanted NOW took over 35 years to come.
It's really up to you. But I think I can speak with some authority that He will not sit back and wait. Once you are saved, truely saved, He will dog you until you finally surrender to His will and His timing and His way of doing what He wants to complete in you. The ball is in your court. Hunker down and keep your nose in His word and I believe if you do that He will give you something to hang onto.
Or, continue as you have and waste away over 35 years llke I did.

The concept of “blasphemy against the Spirit” is mentioned in Mark 3:22-30 and Matthew 12:22-32. The term blasphemy may be generally defined as “defiant irreverence.” The term can be applied to such sins as cursing God or willfully degrading things relating to God. It is also attributing some evil to God, or denying Him some good that we should attribute to Him. This case of blasphemy, however, is a specific one, called “the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit” in Matthew 12:31. In Matthew 12:31-32, the Pharisees, having witnessed irrefutable proof that Jesus was working miracles in the power of the Holy Spirit, claimed instead that the Lord was possessed by the demon “Beelzebub” (Matthew 12:24). Now notice that in Mark 3:30 Jesus is very specific about what they did to commit “blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.”

This blasphemy has to do with someone accusing Jesus Christ of being demon-possessed instead of Spirit-filled. As a result, this particular incidence of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit cannot be duplicated today. Jesus Christ is not on earth—He is seated at the right hand of God. No one can witness Jesus Christ performing a miracle and then attribute that power to Satan instead of the Spirit. The closest example today would be attributing the miracle of a redeemed person’s changed life to Satan’s power rather than to the effects of the indwelling Holy Spirit.

The blasphemy of the Spirit today, which is the same as the unpardonable sin, is the state of continued unbelief. There is no pardon for a person who dies in unbelief. Continual rejection of the Holy Spirit’s promptings to trust in Jesus Christ is the unpardonable blasphemy against Him. Remember what is stated in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Further on in the same chapter is the verse “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him” (John 3:36). The only condition wherein someone would have no forgiveness is if he is not among the “whoever believes in Him,” for it is he who “rejects the Son.”
