house churches in KS?

I just moved to Manhattan, KS and can find no house church gatherings anywhere here... Does anyone know of some within a reasonable distance from here?

Too many are looking for them when they should be asking the LORD "shall I start one?"
Its a HUGE movement of GOD to bring HIS bride back to HIMSELF.

I could use some advice, but I'm not sure I'm ready for such a thing... I have plenty of struggles on my own right now just trying to follow what I know. I could definitely use some guidance from the Spirit on a more verbal and direct basis. I've been praying for that for months and still haven't heard much of anything on the subject, or any subject for that matter.

Which is why I asked about joining a "traditional" church until I know for sure what the Spirit wants. Until I can hear His voice and feel His leading, I'm helpless and hopeless

Ha, some of those same 'dumb' thoughts I had too, back in the imaginary day too!

I say, Imaginary because all those doubts (I had too) and you will find in time they are not real concerns or troubles.

Traditional church is not an option, like going to restaurants.
Its religious and man-made, where the other is spontaneous and doing things as GOD by HIS SPIRIT leads you.

You have been led to this forum section and in your thoughts away from traditional church and all the problems with it, really all the effort for so little results.

Yet, I've had those that come to me and say "Eric, how can you be so mean to the traditional church, my tough stubborn uncle Jim was saved in this church"

"Yes", my reply…"but I've had friends saved in prison and bars/pubs my GOD can save and dose save EVERYWHERE, doesn't HE"

And its NOT just the place, but the spirit behind it - the traditions of men, JESUS called it…so we call even the 'Traditional Church'.

I'm hear to talk if you like or even on the phone - no matter.
In Canada here, we started with just my family, with no desire to make it big or anything…just stepping out in faith and away from religion (which has everything to do with control but they say they offer you freedom).

This house church (or home fellowship) has grown and seen all kinds of fruit for the labor, and has been one of the most fun times I've ever had in my life, as you share it with those that GOD has joined you with….awesome!

Its been going strong for over 5 years now.
With NO LEADER but JESUS as HE works, through each of us by HIS SPIRIT.

You are really hearing from the LORD you know, but you are doubting it.
