  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

They sound like migraines or cluster headaches. Migraines are severe and last for several hours. Cluster headaches are shorter but even more intense. You need to see a neurologist as soon as possible so that you can be diagnosed and begin treatment. God bless!

BTW, the reason you need a doctor's care is because migraines and cluster headaches do not respond to normal medication.

I will be parying for you. My dad has a similar problem. He went to the chiropractor today, thinking it might be a nerve problem in his neck. His neck is out of alignment, and there is a lump of bone on the right side, where it was literally knocked out of socket.

God Bless

Praying for you Pinkfaith! I can totally sympathize. I have much of the same thing. I have migraine headaches, and I can understand the pain you describe. I agree with the advice of going to see a neurologist. They can run some tests and see what the cause of your pain is and hopefully get some treatment started. You don't have to keep suffering. Sometimes the pain relievers you buy over the counter are not enough, especially for migraines or cluster headaches. Can you talk with your parents about the pain and about seeing a neurologist?

I can fully empathize with you, because for years I suffered with what I found out were cluster headaches -- so I know exactly the kind of pain you are talking about.

After having a headache of such intensity that I filled a bucket with ice water, put a straw in my mouth so I could breathe, and stuck my entire head in the water (and that didn't end it), I finally went to a neurologist and found I had been suffering from cluster headaches. He was able to prescribe some medicine which has kept them away since I started the regimen.

I'll keep you in my prayers -- but make an appointment to see a neurologist.
