Jesus talked against Homosexuals, and called it an abomination.Jesus spoke against adultery, so what is your point with this?
I LOVE these types of threads, thank you for proving my side's arguments all the more! All you can do is compare this to unloving, multi-relationships

Good one, some are OK, some are not? Can I torture small animals since he never spoke against it? Of course not! Because I know in my heart it is wrong...He spoke against specific sins...
I didn't say that, but obviously homosexuality was not on His priority list of "mentionable sins"...let's not forget there wasn't a word for homosexual back then, or knowledge of an orientation...Good one, some are OK, some are not? Well, Jesus is God, therefor, any time that God says something, Jesus says it. Therefor, in the Bible, when it calls Homosexuality an abomination, that WAS Jesus talking.Show me where Jesus mentioned the word Homosexual and show me in the original hebrew and greek text the talk of homosexuals
The word Homosexuals may not have existed, but there actually was a word used for Gays in the Bible, it was called Sodomite.I didn't say that, but obviously homosexuality was not on His priority list of "mentionable sins"...let's not forget there wasn't a word for homosexual back then, or knowledge of an orientation...
No, see my thread about Sodomites. The word Homosexuals may not have existed, but there actually was a word used for Gays in the Bible, it was called Sodomite.
Jesus talked against Homosexuals, and called it an abomination.
Agreed. Did Jesus also say to stone to death a rape victim (Deut.). Did Jesus also say to take up multiple wives (in Exodus)? Did Jesus give examples on how to go about slavery? Did Jesus tell a rape victim that she is forced to marry her attacker (Deut.)?Let me guess: in Leviticus, because Jesus wrote Leviticus?
(I'm not kidding, folks: I have actually seen statements from people that Jesus wrote the entire Bible, which is how I think BigChrisfilm is making this stretch.)
No, that means that Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit are the trinity. It does not mean what you say, tho., not in the least. You both have to be kidding me. Didn't Jesus say I and the Father are one? Father, Son, Holy Spirit - One God now and forever....If the Father and Son are one, doesn't that mean Jesus is the Father and wrote and inspired the Bible?
Oh my, ONE GOD - you can't seperate Christ from the Father! Read the Gospel of John - First line....And yes, women are still mistreated in many parts of the world! And I am not saying homosexuals should not have full rights, or be ill treated, stoned, etc (I never have said that)...We are talking about sins...No, that means that Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit are the trinity. I have already confirmed my beliefs w/the Bible, but I don't believe it is a perfect Book, there are quite a few things, if we took literally would make us go insane to this day.
Let's not forget the mistreatment of women, clearly!
You have cherry picked that out, you are a woman are you not?![]()
As a woman, you were an inheritance, almost like property, and you were forced to marry your rape predator/attacker FOR LIFE!
We don't follow all the laws is my only point, and historical context is always taken into account for the present and the future.Oh my, ONE GOD - you can't seperate Christ from the Father! Read the Gospel of John - First line....And yes, women are still mistreated in many parts of the world! Jesus Authored the entire Bible. Man wrote down the Words. God was the author, man was the pen.Let me guess: in Leviticus, because Jesus wrote Leviticus?
