Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.
No, because that does not break the rules. Lying about your age and denomination are against forum rules and the agreement with CF.
BAFRIEND said:Yeah, I think we recently had a guy on here who admitted he was agnostic/borderline atheist claiming to be a Christian. But he slipped up.
Hi. How do you mean I 'slipped up'?
You and racists, Nazis, sexists.....all victims of the nasty ol' tolerance movement.
And your going to validate age how ? Don't you find it a little dishonest when you start a post under one name and answer the OP under another ? If not dishonets, at least a little strange ?
BAFRIEND said:If I remember correctly, you had a denominational symbol and yet you come in a forum admitting you do not believe in God and attacking Christian members in a forum where you are not even allowed to post.
BAFRIEND said:You admit in one of your posts that banishment is inevitable.
And this became a topic of conversation when, in a heated moment, you admitted in one of your posts that you did not even believe in God and that it was contradictory to your own belief system.
BAFRIEND said:LOL, all the homosexual supporters on here argue that these young people will lie about their ages to come in this forum and defend homosexuality, a symptom of relativism and false morality.
And so they should, if the ridiculous age restrictions you advocate were to come into place. If you could take a minute out from the lol-ing that you're always busy with in these replies, tell me what about defending homosexuality is a symptom of relativism?

Yes because they have the same life experience and education that a typical teenager.
"trained"? or we talking about people or animals? I don't know anyone on this board, but i can say this...some of the 16-18 year olds show a lot more maturity then some so called "adults". Should they post here...certainly. Funny that the one that created this thread typically posts false, misleading, and offensive material.Yes, they aren't trained or mature enough to handle these though issues (unless in special cases).
I've had great posts with him, and have never seen him attack anyone. He may have attacked you, but that's so easy, and most on here do it quite often. I totally disagree with CFs "laws" and that they do not allow people to post. It's way to "clincial" and takes away from good debate. Another topic completely. If I remember correctly, you had a denominational symbol and yet you come in a forum admitting you do not believe in God and attacking Christian members in a forum where you are not even allowed to post.

We're speaking education, something a lot of people here need. They just say "you're wrong" and cannot justify their proposition."trained"? or we talking about people or animals? agreed. alot of "that's stupid" or "prove it" or "so what" comments on here that would be the comments of a child. We're speaking education, something a lot of people here need. They just say "you're wrong" and cannot justify their proposition.

Why don't you go to a gay forum and see what happens when you post you are a Christian and see what kind of a reception you get ? And, in general the reception you would get in just about any non-Christian public forum.I've had great posts with him, and have never seen him attack anyone. There are hundreds if not thousands of sights for non-Christians to go and cuss and talk graghically about sex. Go there, don't break forum rules and misrepresent yourself on CF.
Why would I do that? If I'm going to a "gay forum" why would I bring up religion? Unless there was a board for it..then I would, otherwise it's not the place for it. The reception here has been good. No complaints. it's a faith based forum, and they have threads specific to homosexuality..so no issue. "Visitors" are reality. let them tear it down, and give their comments. Perhaps if one learns, or maybe we can learn something from them, then great..it's all worth it. Otherwise, it's always the same people and what learnings do we have besides none? Why don't you go to a gay forum and see what happens when you post you are a Christian and see what kind of a reception you get ? That is why the homosexual topic and non-Christians are not supposed to be posting on most of the forums on CF. Posts and threads are in a Christian context without having to get torn down by visitors.

Do you go to scripture to see what color you should paint your house, or if you should even paint it at all? Do you go to scripture to find out which dr is best to cure what maybe ails you? do you go to scripture to find out what the weather is going to be tomorrow so you can dress appropriately? They all sound sorta stupid right? Why then are you comparing what I said to scripture? Who said anything about "doing things because it feels good and break rules b/c they're clinical"? If you break rules..you need to go to scripture to find support? I guess what I should ask you is do you do anything in life without scipture? So logically you joined a site that has rules, but you don't think they should have them, so you see nothing wrong with breaking them?
That's like saying yes I know Jesus said that if you lust it is the same thing as you doing it, but I don't like that rule so if you want to do it it is ok.
Oh I know rules are made to be broken, I keep forgetting that.
The Bible says we shouldn't encourage people to commit sins, doesn't it?
The times we live in are so............if it feels good do it or if you break the rules it isn't your fault because the rules are to clinical or it isn't my fault because I was raised on the wrong side of the track,
I didn't believe God ever said anything like that, and would love to study on that if you could supply the scriptures for me? Thanks!

I'm not sure I get the point of this. I hung out for several years at a small forum focused on transsexuality. I was very openly Christian (as was another member), and not transsexual, and got along very well with everybody there (except, sometimes, the other Christian, who could be somewhat cruel at times. I got the impression that her ability to empathize had been partially stripped away, due to the abuse she received from her good Christian parents because of her gender bending).
Occasionally, somebody would say something about "Jesus-freaks" that might have been considered mildly offensive, but then somebody else would jump in and respond with "you know, Mling and [other person] sort of fall into that category" and they would apologize and clarify.
I have never noticed any widespread anti-Christian sentiment within the gay community. Only anti-"people who are anti-me" sentiment.
