"Phobia" means to have an irrational fear of something and I don't know any Christians who are afraid of homosexuals.

On the other hand, while Christians aren't afraid of homosexuals, we do believe that homosexuality is a sin, based on the fact that the Bible condemns it and it perverts the roles that God has assigned to husbands and wives.

The bible condones the killing of homosexuals, why is this? Supposedly he is a kind and merciful god. Assuming god created man, why did he create him with the capability to be homosexual? Homophobic can also be used to describe someone who dislikes homosexuals, many words don't mean exactly the same as their latin translation.

He didn't. Read Romans 5. It tells us exactly how sin entered the world.

He is. However, He's also righteous and holy and that means that He will punish sin and, where something or someone seeks to pervert His word, He will protect His word.
