Locally, as a result of on-line learning, a fears of sending their kids back to school during the epidemic, many local parents out where we live have opted to home school. Have any here come to the same conclusion?

we opted for the online option -an online school the district has used before at the local high school for some reason

teachers from our school district are zooming each wk/checking in on the kids (diff. teacher for each subject)

today, during zoom, the teacher gave them a pop quiz
daughter said everyone's eyes got big, lol

wish we could do this next year, too
no bad influence from peers at the middle school....

know it's only 3rd wk, but our child really seems to like it so far! likes the flexibility of choosing which subject to do first & mixes the order up daily
