I'd love to find a small group of people who love Jesus, and have easy access to get to as I don't have transportation. How did you go about finding a group like this?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

They are generally hard to find, as they don't advertise and they don't believe in a church building.
I would say these 3 things:
1) Pray and ask the LORD to put you into a 'house church' or with a handful of believers.
2) You don't need many nor a 'group', start with 2 or 3 friends/family if you can.
3) Don't look to find one (if you can't) rather open your home and start one.
Remember JESUS builds HIS church, you just have to join in and use the little you've got!

I don't really have the space to open my home - nor the furniture to host something like this. But I will seek your advice otherwise.

One can read about some gatherings in the world who continue in various places in homes and various buildings, and hold to Scripture-only for all their purpose, worship, and service to God. You can read about them at the site: www.biblecounsel.net if interested; and there might be such a one near to you.
