What is Holy Lands?
Holy Lands is a new RPG to ChristiansForums! Inspired by a Christian RPG!
It’s the medieval adventure game that puts your character against the demons, devils, and sorcerers who want to destroy the medieval church. You must use your character’s prowess, wits, and faith to fight the evil enemies of God and the enemies of the medieval kingdoms.

2. No killing off other Characters, however fights between Characters are allowed but you must wait for the opponent to fight back/defend themselves you can not just kill them!

Chapter 1

The Holy Lands were once a place of peace & freedom.
But one day all Hell broke lose, now the Land has been divided between Good & Evil!
Many have tired to take back the Lands which God had promised them but many have failed leading in deaths!
Children, family's all killed by the evil which now wonders the Holy Lands...

A New Fellowship must be formed with the blessing from God to take back the Land before it is consumed by all evil and before the beginning of Armageddon!

 

[FuzzyToy]

Rose wonders around, looking for people! She looks over a hill side not far from the division from Good & Evil, and see's dark clouds and thunder over the Land which is now been taken over by evil!
She continues looking for people to form an alliance to take back the Holy Lands!

 

[tamlis]

Meanwhile, Lady Jane, angrily walks to the stable to cool off from a quarrel she has had with her mother . She has had yet another quarrel with her mother over the man she is betrothed to. He is vain and dishonest and she dislikes him intensely. She thinks maybe a ride on her favorite horse through the countryside may help her anger subside.

Flynni, bold and full of fire, puts on her suit of armour. Once she has finished, she tests her longsword and goes to the stable. She mounts her horse and rides off into the distance...

St.Antony had just come out of the Church after a week of fasting! He looked up into the dark sky! Darkness has covered the Land! He knew that evil has made a home on the Holy Lands and that it would soon come to a time where it will consume the Land forever.
He walked to the Church Garden and said to himself, "This is only the beginning..."

Till knows that something is amiss with Flynni. Have the raiders taken her? Or is she simply not in a good mood? He wonders if he should go to her...

St. Michael is troubled. He has heard of distant villages being destroyed by an unknown force and a darkness taking over in the North. From all the accounts he has heard he suspects it may be forces unlike anything his people have seen before. He kneels on the cool damp floor of the church to pray asking God to help protect his village from this darkness and he asks God for guidance and discernment to recognize it and how to battle it.

 

[Thunder_and_lightning!]

Zafter stood among the rubble of a newly destroyed village. He drew his cloak closer to himself to ward of the chill of the mountain air. He looked at the tell tale signs that would tell people this was an attack by demons. The place smelled of death and all the houses were burned. The small church had been ravaged and knocked down by them. There was nothing left to protect. He wiped his sword of the demon ichor that had been spilled upon it and began to descend the mountain, away from the newest claim of the Dark Lands.

St.Antony had survived the attack, but was in pain and anger to see the church destoryed! Many people of the village had been killed, some have fled to near by towns and cities! But all, are at risk.
St.Antony moved to a near by Village, the Village of Cumbria. He moved into a under ground church and began to teach the Word of God.
Only 6 churchs remain in the Holy Lands and 23 destoryed!

Rose was staying in the Village of Cumbria, and every Sunday went to St.Antony's meetings, she was blessed listening to the Word of God!
But there was a side to her which was in pain, pain caused by the destruction of villages, deaths of families and the darkness which has already consumed part of the Holy Lands.
Rose went to the Village Stables and began to train her with her bow and arrow!

Nardin stood on a hill over looking a small town. The tiger next to him growled. He petted his head gently. “You shall have the taste of flesh in your mouth soon my friend.’ He said to the tiger, which growled in response. He had never given a name to his tiger. He didn’t think it worthy of a name, despite its excellent performance in battle. It was a strong foe for any one. He lifted his double sided pike out of the ground and mounted the tiger. Nardin paused breifly to take another look at the village, “soon, very soon.” he whispered, and with that rode off.

Heath stepped to the side as a sword went past his head, then drove his own sword into the body of a demon he was fighting. Two more demons launched themselves at him. He tok a quick side step and duck from the sword of one of them as they swung their sword at him. He then made a quick upward swing with one of his swords, which was blocked, then spun behind the demon, driving his other sword into the demons gut, just as the second demon lunged, stabbing his already dead comerad. Heath pulled his sword of the body and jumpped back, simotaniously sheathing one of his swords. He quickly pulled out on of his throwing daggers and lauched it at the last demon, then another. The demon dodged the first, but was struck in the arm by the second. Heath ran towards the demon, making a downward slice with his sword. The demone blocked. He made several other advances at the demon, each one blocked. The demon swung at Heath’s head. Heath ducked quickly, and the lunged his sword into the demon’s body. The demon fell to the ground. The were several other dead bodies of demons around. Heath picked up his throwing daggers, and sheathed his sword. He found a small pool of water, and washed off the cut on his arm.

Hawk walked through a town in sillence. He had just helpped the demons in an attack, but didn’t leave until several of those demons had been killed. He glanced at a church as he walked passed, and entered a bar. There were a few people there, but not many. He ordered his drink and sat down at one of the tables.

 

[Woogyman]

Abraxas a demon from the astral plane had just helped in a attack of one of the villages! He killed innocents and burnted churchs! He got onto a black horse which stood in the shadows and rode into a town...
He got off his horse and entered the town bar and sat opposite Hawk! No one knew if he was a demon from the other side, he looked like every other guy in the bar!

 

[Thunder_and_lightning!]

After Zafter had descended the mountain he walked to the top of a nearby hill. He looked in all directions vainly looking for a village where he could find food and sleep. Deciding it would be best to rest upon a hill, Zafter took off his traveling pack and began set up a camp.

Lady Jane mounted her horse and rode off through the countryside. In the distance she saw strange dark clouds enveloping the north land towards Cumbria. She had a friend there and an idea started to form. Maybe if she left her mother and father would realize how strongly she felt about this marriage and they would change their minds. She decided she would run away and escape to her friends in Cumbria.

Saint Michael stood up. He knew what he had to do. God had told him he needed to go and help fight this darkness. He felt compelled to go towards Cumbria and seek out those involved with the church there. He went to the table beside his bed and picked up the greatest weapon he could have- his Bible!

 

[Brilliand]

In the wake of Abraxas' attack, Asof walked into town and began assisting those who were beginning to repair the damage. Though his long fingernails attracted odd looks, the surviving villagers soon accepted his presence.
As villagers joined in rebuilding the town, Asof kept count of their numbers. 17..18..19.. half an hour passed before the twentieth villager joined in rebuilding the church. That was his signal. Turning from his work and even kicking down what he had built, Asof stabbed his long fingernails through the jugular of the villager next to him, then followed it up with a stab to the neck of the villager on his other side. Chaos quickly erupted as some villagers fled, while most tried to attack Asof and bring him down. The few remaining villagers stopped work to watch the fight and lend opinions.
Asof maneuvered near a weapon and dove for it, but the dive was a feint. Villagers knocked him aside and grabbed the pitchfork, stabbing it into his stomach as he ripped out the necks of two more villagers. Asof then jumped forward, driving the pitchfork deeper. The man holding the pitchfork stood his ground, while the others backed away to watch Asof die. Asof lunged forward, striking the crossbar and forcing the pitchfork backward. The villager stumbled and lost his grip, then backed away as Asof spun, throwing the pitchfork free and spraying blood.
As the pitchfork left Asof's body, his flesh began to seal unnaturally, closing in random places. He charged, madness filling his eyes as demons repaired his body, and tackled a villager. Other villagers began returning from all directions, carrying various weapons and now taking Asof very seriously. Asof ripped the throat out of the man he had tackled and abruptly vanished, leaving the villagers dumbfounded.

Lizer awoke in his bed, where as far as anyone knew he had lain for four days. To himself, however, it had only been a single night - a single night of sleep before he had let his brothers have time in the world.
In his sleep he had seen a vision of the village of Menae. He had seen himself and his two brothers stand around the village and lift it up, then rotate it and set it back down. While he wasn't sure what that meant, he was determined to travel there and find out what he could.
Taking his Bible and his cloak, he started off, pausing beside the road to select a walking stick.

After two days of travelling southward Zafter arrived at the village of Cumbria. He arrived there at high noon to a busy marketplace. Ignoring curious stares he walked over to the stall of a fish merchant. The merchant looked slightly nervous when he approached so Zafter tried to say something that would calm him. "How much are your fish?"

The merchant seemed to lose some of his nervousness and answered "They are three coppers each. How much will you be buying?" Zafter gave the man 9 coppers and the man gave him three of his fish. Ranuke then began to head toward the church. Didn't every man need to go to a place God considered holy after long journeys?

Lily walked through the mountains with her faithful companion Lil Mis Magic by her side. She gave her a faint smile walking across the hills with only a small bag, a compass, and a shovel. She had been traveling for days, not really certain what she was looking for.

"Any clue at all that would take me to the lost city would allow me to keep moving..." Lily thought. She thought of her husband and his dying wish and continued down the hill until she saw a village in front of her.

"This must be Cumbia..." Lily thought, making her way down, and wondered if anyone there would be able to help her find some sort of direction to take.

St.Antony felt something different about the village, he walked outside to the marketplace...
He saw a little boy sitting in the corner and walked up to him and said, "Hello, little boy..., are you ok? Where are your parents?"
The boy answered, "I don't have any parents, they got killed by evil things"
St.Antony asked the boy, "Do you want anything to eat?"
He replyed, "Yes, thank you so much"
St.Antony took the boy back to the underground church and gave him fish & bread to eat. St.Antony said, "You'll be safe here..."
