Holy Cross Day

[Epiphany]

Hello

Today was Holy Cross Day and it was nice. After Divine Liturgy, there was a procession with the Cross. It was decorated with red carnations and basil leaves. When we went to kiss the Cross, we took a red carnation and piece of bread. How was your Holy Cross Day?

Not surprisingly, ours was much the same. I had a good day at church today, a really good day. It even alleviated my disappointment that spring break is already over and I have to go to class tomorrow...

This red carnation will go nicely with the white one, now dried, which I saved from last September. I still have mine from Holy Week last year, too... somewhere...
