Yes, I may, but have been busy. Maybe in the morning, if I am able. Need to do some errands and chores, but should have some time then.I enjoyed your long post and would very much like to see you do one on the temptations of Christ in the wilderness and how Satan tried to use the things of the world to tempt Him.
So the saints need not repent
My apologies for making this so long. There is so much associated with this that there is not much I can omit for the purpose of brevity. There are to be two long posts to cover this subject. It is why I hesitated in writing, and certainly in posting this. May God grant to our hearts the understanding we need, and that we may see His truth as it is from the scriptures.... I enjoyed your long post and would very much like to see you do one on the temptations of Christ in the wilderness and how Satan tried to use the things of the world to tempt Him.
Please forgive typo's, and bad choices using SpellCheck in any of what I posted above. Also, there may be minor issues that could be corrected, but the Edit feature is not working for these posts, and our subsequent discussions might be the best way to fix these things.
For being saints,or for not drinking the kool aid?[/QUOTE
Did you mean to say "alcohol"?
Do you think Kool Aid and alcohol are the same thing?
I've NEVER heard anybody preach against Kool Aid.
Don't confuse living a godly life with holiness.
You can't live a godly life without holiness. Without holiness is with unholiness.
You can't be holy without godliness. Without godliness is with ungodliness.
I don't see what the problem is in understanding this. It seems to me you are trying to split a hair that is not supposed to be split.
You cant' take holiness away from godliness, and you can't take godliness away from holiness. The less you have of one, the less you have of the other. The more you have of one, the more you have of the other.
If you sit at home watching "Family Guy" or "Everybody Loves Raymond", shows full of ungodliness, you are trying to mix ungodliness in with your idea of holiness and that proves your idea of holiness is mistaken. Sorry. God loves you and so do I.
Worldliness is opposite to godliness. Worldliness is opposite to holiness. It boggles my mind how Christians can think there is compromise grounds........until I remember, I was one of those Christians who enjoyed the gray areas of compromise for far too many years.
Since Christ died for our sins, and we were not born when he died,do you think
we could possibly repent upon salvation?
Unless he did not die for sins yet to be committed,or maybe it's all conditional on our works toward repentance and righteous deeds.

Yes Steven Anderson also has a video telling us how to relieve ourselves against a wall.
Of course if a man sits down to urinate he is a sinner,so I guess handicapped people are sinners.
It is offensive for a hypocrite to judge others when they are just as guilty.
so you are judging everybody of being guilty of everything?
I agree, legalism is a religion which is unbiblical. Holiness is Biblical. It is in direct contrast to worldliness.
Holiness glows with pure light, it's clean in every way, in outward expression and inward direction toward, for, and by God for the sake of the holy name of Jesus Christ
. Worldliness glimmers with glitz and sparkles in shadows, that's why they put on a good light show at worldly music performances. That's why they put metallic sparkles in car paint. That's why the women on TV use a lot of makeup and wear low-cut tops. That's why you tap your feet when you feel the rhythm of the beat in ungodly music. That's why some people think God talks to them in country music. They confuse the beauty and allure of worldly sparkles with the Light of God. When Moses came down from the mountain, glowing with the holiness of God, they sure knew there was something different about him but they were probably still so far gone in the gray areas of their worldly party that they didn't know what they did was wrong....then Moses called for the godly ones to separate themselves and they followed his command and spread the fear of God throughout the camp. We are still commanded by God to fear God today. We are still commanded by God to be holy today. Too many Christians today think the grace of God is a license for permissiveness when it is supposed to be the fuel for obedience and the strength to resist and live in victory over sin. Faith is the victory that overcomes the world, faith is not the license to sing the worlds music and dance to their tunes.
Ok, I'm having too much fun with this. I better stop. I'll just say look at the OP to see the contrast between worldliness and holiness, and look at Avid's post showing the holiness of Christ when he resisted the devil's attempts to tempt Him with things of the world.

No he meant kool-aid. It's a figure of speech.
As for alcohol, are you against any and all alcohol consumption?
While I have never been drunk, I do have a wine cooler every now and then. Maybe some champagne on our anniversary or for another celebratory event.
I have nothing against alcohol as long as it's in moderation. You drunk not to get drunk, but just a glass here or there. My grandfather would have one beer a week, on Sundays with our pasta dinner (we're Italian) as well as maybe a glass of wine for Thanksgiving or Christmas. My grandfather was captain of the ushers for 25 years at the Catholic church that I grew up in.
