Not that I have anything against the UMC but it seems that certain Holiness Movement churches such as the Salvation Army, Nazarene, Wesleyan Church, Free Methodist Church etc... should be in a same group together. The UMC and specific Holiness churches do not agree on several issues.

Wesley's Parish is open to members of all Wesleyan backgrounds not only the United Methodist Church. The Methodist Church of Great Britain, United Church of Canada, Church of the Nazarene, The Wesleyan Church, The Church of the Nazarene, Holiness, etc. are all represented there. This being since all the churches are Wesleyan in theology. The Salvation Army has its own group here at CF, as it is considered rather distinct from the other Wesleyan denominations (more evangelical, and no sacraments).

I certainly don't disagree with that. It just seems to me that the S.A. is left out of some good discussions just because of some small differences. Thus my comment about "the UMC and certain Holiness churches don't agree on some issues" yet are in the same group. I happen to attend both the S.A. and the Church of the Nazarene. Anyway, I was just wondering. Thanks.

IMO, A holiness forum would need to encompass not only members of the Wesleyan churches, the SA, but some of the pentecostal denominations as well... I see it existing as a faith group rather than a congregational forum due to the various backgrounds. I can even see some UMC members wanting to participate. It's an interesting idea, but I'm not sure we have enough members to make it work.
