His true Word

Ok, in another thread I saw the discussion about how to prove or show to others that our Bible is the True word of God and not others. I thought that this would be a good thread to open to all to talk about how we can show to others that the Bible is the True Word. Since all of us here know that it is the true Word we will not have to debate with each other but rather just show how this could be shown to the non-believer w/out using passages from the Bible. I hope I made sense here.

One way to start could be sharing with them ways that we know God works in our daily life.

Keeping in mind that, that's just a start. It would most likely be a timely proccess.

One thing to remember is "WHY PROVE THE BIBLE IS THE WORD OF GOD?"

Once you have proven that what have you proven and to what avail? Is it for the sake of winning a debate? Because I guarantee you it will win no convert!

In order for a person to be saved he must be drawn by the Holy Spirit. There must be a hundred verses that tell us that in the New Testament alone. So either the Holy Spirit is working in a life or He is not. If He is not it matters not what you PROVE! It is an exercise in futility.

I say that the absolute best proof is to try it and see for yourself. If you are not willing to try it, you didn't really want to know in the first place, but just wanted to argue it. So whenever they get to the point that they don't know what else to say bad about it, tell them to try it and see for themselves because it works! See Malachi for my basis. Have a great day!
