Hey guys! I'm new to the forum, and I thought I would share a little bit about myself.
If there is but a single quality that I admire in the Lord above all others, it is His infinite patience. My path to Christianity, as my screen name would suggest, has not been a straight shot by any stretch of the imagination. I have spiraled through spiritual identity after identity, finding a small measure of comfort in the doctrines that I practiced, but never quite finding the sense of peace that should accompany a return home so to speak. Fortunately, He never grows tired of waiting on the wayward, and after many extended hands I believe I've at last taken Him up on His offer.
I'm new to the faith as a practitioner, but I'm abstractly familiar with a lot of the theology thanks to my youth (nominally Christian home) and my own investigations. That means that I'm going to be relying on you guys to turn the fact-based information that I've stored upstairs into something real and applicable to my faith life. Thanks in advance
