Hidden Messages?

There was this one night when my friends and I were in the woods listening to some Techno music blaring from somebodys car. It was a weird circumstance when I went to go pee in the bushes because I looked up at the moon just admiring how bright it was that night. All of a sudden I heard some whispers coming from the music we were hearing. The whispers werent exactly peaceful either. For a split second the Techno was blocked out and all I could hear were those whispers. The whispers scared me, but I figured I would go back to the party because after all, I was the one hosting it .

I was very worldly back then but I feel like God was helping me in some way. I was lost and following some really dirty ways of life but now Im found and I still listen to my Techno. Just not the "I Wanna Rave" type of Techno...

Sometimes techno and dance music has things like that in it. They aren't hidden messages, they are trying to be creative and clever... and it usually fails miserably.

lol I believe you. It can make a person wonder especailly someone like me who thinks theres alot more things hidden from us then there should be. I watched on youtube this priest who was listening to these repedative drums and he was just going crazy and shaking. You could tell his followers were trying to cover up what he was doing so people wouldnt assume he was on drugs but I think there was some kindof demonistic presence because it wasent new age music. Benny Hinn says we shouldnt listen to repedative music or even burn insence. It's part of what the charismatic church does. It's all him, it's not God.

Also, Benny Hinn is probably the last person you should listen to on about anything. If incense is bad, why was it given to Baby Jesus as a gift?

oh true true.. point taken about incense lol. but still why benny hinn? hes cool why shouldnt I like him? What about techno?I dont want my questions to go unanswered because Im so worried about the way people get into practically tribal type dancing when listening to techno. Ive been there and done it. Just why? Is it because of drugs? Or maybe the message cleverly put into the background? Sorry I just dont understand.. lol sorry if Im being a pest about this I just dont get it like I should I guess..

I use to club all the time. I've never done drugs, I just liked the music. Anyone who says that music is bad because it's rhythmic or tribal is completely ignorant and probably just doesn't want people enjoying it because they don't themselves. The same was for rock music in the 60's. It was "evil" because it wasn't enjoyed by the older Christians. If we went by that logic, the only music we would be permitted to listen to is chant.

Whats chant? I used to rave too which is pretty cool that you used to also.what did you like about it most? How did you start going to clubs? Ive never been to a real club just basements and outside like fire spinning have you ever seen someone do that? can you? Its so cool but kinda dangerous. Like poi spinning would be pretty cool and a little less dangerous lol.

What about techno?I dont want my questions to go unanswered because Im so worried about the way people get into practically tribal type dancing when listening to techno.

i've heard a similar argument against hip-hop music. supposedly, repetitive drums are evil. they say they're similar to evil tribal african rhythms. or something...which means the real evil is soul, funk, and library music from the 70s since most drums in hip-hop are sampled anyways...power chords are also evil. distorted guitars as well. according to some preachers, everything is evil, everything is bad for you. did you know that certain haircuts are evil too?

i don't think there's anything wrong listening to techno. you said you changed your way of life, and that's really the important thing...BUT if you're worried about listening to it, or think is wrong or might influence you, then don't do it. pray about it i guess.

i'm not familiar with techno, though...the closet thing to techno i listen to is crystal castles. apparently it's music to get high to. idk.

I started going to clubs at 18 when I was living in Melbourne, Australia. If I was still there I would probably still be going simply because I love to dance and I love the club atmosphere.

I hope you don't actually take Hinn seriosly? The guy is a complete and utter fraud, even many Christians aknowledge this. He has even been exposed, I think it was on 20/20{but don't quite me on that}.

As for "hidden messages". I am unaware of how techno and dance groups are, but I highly doub they include hidden messages{most of em anyhow}, perhaps some do as a joke. Do you know thwere have been bands out there that hve included hidden and reverse messages in songs that have been just silly ramblings and even telling people they are wasting their time looking for hidden messages, basically to mock paranoid fundamentalist christians whom think that there is some secret devil worship thing going on in popular music and there are hidden and reverse messages everywhere.

If you were hearing voices, it was likely all in your head, and you should probably go and see a psychiatarist, get some meds perhaps.
