I'm new to the forums and just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Bri. I'm a 21 year old SAHM to 2 kids, Kimari (2) and Mathias (2 months). My husband Ryan and I have been married for almost 3 years. We got pregnant on our honeymoon and Kimari came only 6 months later. Mathias was early, too. So pregnancy is kind of a task (albeit a short one!) for me and it made our decision to be QF a little harder. But I know that it's right, and God will continue to give us only what we can handle. We'd also like to adopt in the future.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

welcome to the forum.
I haven't been here long myself. This seems to be a rather deserted place, although there are a lot of views of these posts, not many people seem to reply. I guess that as most of us are mothers (and some fathers) we're way too busy to be online!

You're the first person I've ever met with a child the same name as my son Matthias. I hate it when people mistake it for a 'new age' name, people often say things like 'well, people call their kids all sorts of names these days, did you make it up yourself?'. I like it when people recognise it from the books of Acts.

Hi, I know you wrote this awhile ago, but I just started to come back on here. I hear ya on the qf. My dh and I always wanted a lot of kids. With the 1st he was also our honeymoon baby born (Samuel) on our 9 month anniversary. He was born by emergency c section. And baby boy 2 (Jonah) was born naturally only by the grace of God. I was told I couldn't have more than a five lbs baby (my birth canal was to small) But I pushed out An 8 pound 12 Oz Baby, face up and his arm by his head. Now the docs say that I have I 95% of delivering naturally next time. My problem was after bb2 I had got 2 infections, had a 3rd degree tear and had hemmroids. I also have no place for prego belly so go straight out and down. So it all depends on a next delivery if we'll have a lot. We would like to have more. We are hoping to wait until Jonah is one which is later this month. 21
