CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

- There is a wealth of information available in the Frequently Asked Questions area (FAQ for short). Some of the topics include information about Reputation, Blessings, Armor, Virtual Pets, Jobs and Health.

Welcome to Christian Forums! My name is Tatiana and I'm a senior moderator for the Friendship Team, which helps to watch over this forum (New Member Intros forum). Please let me know if I can assist you while you enjoy some time around CF... there's ALOT to know so it can be a little tricky.
I'm also the coordinator for the team in the CF Welcoming Committee. So I'm very dedicated to our new members and getting them caught up around the site. Here are few suggestions on getting around the areas that I have help moderate.
First off... every member should read the CF rules so that you know what is alloweable here (we try to keep this site clean for our younger members and Christian-oriented, while we do welcome those of other beliefs). Also, if you're wondering about all our different faith icons, you can learn about them here: List of Faith Icons.
