  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi there!!

My name is Reed (Reedly), I have been reading threads and posts for about 3 hours now and I'm so excited to have found such a great forum!!

I have recently started making a strong conscious effort to live my life closer to the way Jesus would have me live. Man...it is proving to be a wonderful, difficult, glorious, and emotional journey! I've known God for nearly 3 years now. I am so happy to be able to say that!

WoooooooHoooooo! It's great to wake up and see so many people checked in on the newbies!


I was up so late last night reading posts, studying my Bible, re-reading posts, posting...it's a good thing my church started having Sunday night services about 2 months ago!!! I could never had made it this morning!
