So I'm not officially a step parent but I have started a relationship with a single dad today was one of the first days his little girl has really wanted my help I got her ready for bed and put her to sleep she just wanted me it was awesome

Welcome. As you can see there isn't a lot of traffic here. I suggest getting prepared for step-parenting. Smart step-family I believe is the title of one good book. They have a website also.
