  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi. My name is Keith and I'm from Oklahoma, USA. I grew up in a small town of about 2,000 people. I discovered this website yesterday and I have been hooked! I love it! I have been a part of other Christian forums on the net before, but not one this huge and so cool. Anyway, I attend college at Oklahoma State University and I'm involved with several Christian organizations on campus. I'm also still active in my youth group called High Impact in my hometown. It's really neat. I love how friendly people are on here. I was in the chat earlier today and people are sooooo nice! I felt welcome here! So I will try to be a regular member on this site. God has given me a really deep faith in the past 3 years. And I'm enjoying every bit of it. I love prayer and I want to say that prayer really works. I have witnessed it time and again. Friends are very important to me and I strive to be the best friend that I can be to others. I love my friends! Well, that's all for now.
