Hi! I'm new here, so....

... I thought I'd tell you about me a little bit more.

I'm 15.
My dad is Mavrick. He's the Youth Pastor at our church.

My mom died just over a year and a half ago. I really miss her a lot.
But I know she is with God and I will see her again, but sometimes I just want to have her hug me again.

Anyhow..... I'm in 9th grade, and I love going to the youth group meetings on Friday nights.

Oh, yeah, I'm adopted. Dad adopted me after Mom died cause he loves me. He was my mentor and best friend for five years before Mom died.

I like to write poems and stuff, Dad does too, but not as much.

I guess that's all.

Welcome to CF! I too know the pain of losing someone close to you. Its very tough and your dad is right when you grow up you can help lots of people who are dealing with what you are dealing with. You can even help others now, there are other people your age who have lost loved ones you can reach out to...you can make a difference in someone's life!
