Hi, I just joined this forum today. Im a strong Christian who's made some wrong turns in the path of life. I came upon this site while researching Christ for a school report, and I really couldnt be happier. I've sinned without knowing it many a time, downloaded music via p2p programs, participated in warez, and done other things which I don't really want to mention. I've come here for help and to help. I've lived a kind of rough life, and i feel that my heart is tainted from the sins i have done. I know that I've come to the right place for help from viewing a few of the forums, and I can not give enough thanks to the one(s) who made this board.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Welcome Kamikazebadger!!! First of all don't forget, Jesus forgives. Take what you have done in the past to Him. After that, you must forgive yourself and remember there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus. HE has forgiven you and said He cast your sins far from you. Don't second guess Jesus, if HE has forgiven you forgive yourself! 
Just remember to be compassionate on others who are making mistakes as HE has been compassionate to you. The enemy tries to get you to dwell on past sins and guilt to drag you down and away from God. We know he is a liar and the father of lies so....there you go.
