Howdy, folks! I guess I ought to introduce myself before jumping in...
My name is Jamie, and I have two "boys". The first love of my life is my husband of four years. His day job (or night job, rather) is law enforcement, but he is also a walking encyclopedia, a darn good kisser, and one of the few men I've know who really *doesn't* need to stop and ask directions or look at a map to get where he is going. The second love of my life is our spunky 1 1/2 year-old son whose favorite activity is testing gravity with an array of monkey-like (and in my motherly opinion, dangerous) moves as he cruises through the house--or wherever he happens to be. He's a full time job, but I love him for it.
I enjoy writing, reading, amateur web design, names, words, crafty projects, painting, and a good debate when the opportunity arises. Attach to each of those interests a *when I have time* clause, because most of my time is spent chasing down our energetic son!
I grew up in a Christian family, so it's difficult to pinpoint when I accepted Jesus as my personal savior. I never doubted my faith, but I have gone through a couple less-than-exemplary periods in my life. I'm working on building a better relationship with the Lord.
Anyway, enough about me. Look forward to meeting you all!
P.S. - Hi Trina!
