I have found; in times of trouble; like we have with this CV-19; that listening to; and singing along to good Christian P&W music; can bring us closer to Jesus and His wonderful peace.

Hello from a fellow Catholic. My grandparents used to vacation in MN, and I remember visiting them there when I was little. I remember watching movies and going swimming at the pool, but that's about the only two things that stuck with me after all these years later. Anyway, I hope we can get to know each other through PM's once I can.

I used to be in a music ministry (played violin and recorder) in the 1970s and 1980s, and am partial to the music of Cary Landry, Bob Franke, Dan Shutte, John Foley, Bob Dufford, and other music of that era, but I have not participated in music ministry in a long long time. I will check it out.

I guess I should also add an explanation of my user name. "Leaf by Niggle" is a delightful and heartwarming very short story by J.R.R. Tolkien. You can read the whole thing in about 12 minutes. I still tear up every time I do, I find it that moving.

Also my profile picture is a picture on took on vacation to southern Illinois many years ago. It is of the Bald Knob Cross of Peace, which stands 111 feet high and is so prominent that flight schools in the area use it as a navigation landmark.
