Greetings, my twin is a Baptist, my wife is SDA, I'm a Pentecostal Pastor.
There are several things that I am curious about.
Certain things that can't otherwise be answered, well this seems to be the best place to ask.

I honestly want to understand those things that shouldn't divide us, we should be able to find some common ground.
1. What is the official stance on the end-time
2. What is the official view on Joel?
3. Is cessationism an integral part of your doctrine?
4. What does 1John 5 mean when it states that the word and spirit are one?

I'm pretty sure that will be further questions, and I hope to provide an adequate perspective on the same.
My background is mixed and not limited to pentecostalism.
So, I would be glad to hear from you.

I'd have to say that any request for an 'official' position is going to depend on which 'official' you would ask. Your questions seem to be a bit too vague in their purpose to really get a good answer.

As far as I am aware the end times will come about just as the Scriptures foretell. Joel is the writings of that prophet and, I mean, without anything more specific all I can say is that Joel was a prophet of God. By cessationism, do you mean should we be a part of the world? Sure! In the world but not of the world. 1 John 5 means the same as it means whenever the Scriptures speak of two or more 'being one'. They are in agreement.
