I have continued to work this summer as an intern auditor with the KY-TN Conference in Nashville.
I have been offered three jobs. One was in Montgomery, AL working for the Gulf States Conference as assistant treasurer where I would have been dealing with payroll and accounts payable. I traveled down there to visit with them and chose not to accept it because it was more accounting which I didn't feel was my strength. (I graduated from Southern with an emphasis in Management).
The other two are as assistant managers with the ABC at the KY-TN Conference where I already am, and the other one is as assistant manager with the ABC at the Florida Conference in Orlando. I came down here to visit.
So now it's down to these two and I am having a hard time deciding. The Florida Conference is much bigger with a lot higher sales and both jobs would be the same salary and benefits. They are both considered internship programs but I would be full-time. With the Florida Conference, I would be dealing more specifically with the book mobile program and here in Florida it would require me to get my CDL.
The job in Nashville is a much smaller store and the management team would only be myself and the manager. At Florida it's so much bigger. They say I would have a much better chance of advancement with the Florida Conference in my career, and that's why it's a really hard decision.
