Hello! I'm birdyluv0, and I would like to introduce myself.
Since I have been on other forum hosting softwares, it'll take me a while to get used to this software; it took me about 5 minutes to learn how to post a thread.

I have been a Catholic for 14 years. I am currently in 8th grade and am going to be Confirmed in about a week from this post. I am excited to introduce myself, and I can't wait to get to know the community!

Hi Birdy, congratulations on being confirmed soon. I am a catholic too I took the name Joseph for my confirmation name many years ago as he was Jesus' father on earth. My sister has a cockatiel bird if that is what your photo is of. All pets are great and bring much joy into our life. I had a wonderful Labrador called sandy7 that sadly died 2 years ago and I still miss her as she was so friendly and a great companion but I hope I meet her again in heaven someday. She was called sandy7 because she was the seventh Labrador we had called sandy.
Anyway I hope your schooling is going well and it is nice to meet you, may Our lord always guide your life, christopher Australia

Thank you for sharing your story! As a fellow Catholic, I send prayers up to our Loving Savior and Blessed Mother for your Confirmation. Seek Christ out each day- in the small and the big. I joined the Catholic Church in 2005, was previously a Protestant, and before that I was welcomed into Christianity as a baby in the Russian Orthodox Church- where I was baptized, confirmed, and given my First Communion. I truly enjoy being Catholic - the theology and liturgy are a blessing in my life and I pray it is so in your heart too.

CF is a great place to discuss faith and make friends! I'm a long-time member (even met my husband through the site) and this site has helped me to learn more about my Catholic faith, as well as, other Christian faiths too.
