  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I haven't come onto this website in a very long time, and I thought it was about time I checked in.
My family has been going through a lot, lately. I recently started my Junior year at my high school, so I have to worry about graduation and getting old. (Oh no! I'll need to buy some good moisturizer, lol)
Robert, my older brother, has been hospitalized again. This week has been really rough on him, and he's gone to Vanderbilt to find out what's wrong. My dad is with him to help him move around because he's blind on one side.
Something's really wrong, and he's acting like he's drunk, but he isn't!
They're going to do an MRI on his brain to see if either of the tumors are growing.

So, all in all, I would really appreciate it if you prayed for my brother, Robert, so that we can have great news when his MRI comes back.
I believe (along with my mother) that God is going to heal him, and he's going to be okay.
I have to stay strong.

Pray for his good health and safe return from the hospital.
Thank you everyone,
Sarbear

Sarbear, God bless you for having a sense of humor during this difficult time. I will pray for your brother.

Father God, I lift up Robert and ask of Your healing mercy over him and ask that You will grant the doctors wisdom to properly diagnose him. Thank You for Your servants in the medical field who are instruments of Your healing power. Grant him healing and health for his body, In Jesus Name, Amen
