I'm fairly new to this Christian Forums website. I have been given a gift that even I know is very good. Art.

For the majority of my life i drew darkness.

I haven't done much recently but still have a desire to go to art college.
I pray Jesus's will the heavenly Father's will over my art talent for i don't want to use just for me.

I plan to show some artwork in the near future and am excited to meet some artists.

Any beneficail encouragement would be apreciated greatly, helping to find a college, what can i do with what i have?

i don't want to be a lone artist!!!!! just an intro "Hello"

You are so lucky to have the talent of drawing and art. I alwys wish that i could draw, but no so blessed. Use your talent and all the very best with finding a college that will nurture that gift.

I have a gift of art from God as well. It's still hard for me to say that. I went years without drawing (age 14 to 21). I went to college to get a Phys Ed degree. I then started doing well in biology and english. I still didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. I even quit school for a while and just worked. Then I went back to school and finished up. Then my interest in art came back. With God's help, I took mostly graphic arts/illustration classes and got a degree in art at age 28. It took a while for me to figure things out but I'm glad I did it God's way. I now do art for a living. May God bless you in your artistic adventure!

thank 's for the greeting,
yesterday a friend from church wanted me to sketch him and his son by combining photos. this will be for his birthday. I was waery about saying yes I'll do it but am looking forward to do something. I also enjoy photography and yesterday spent sometime working on the computer editing photos and hope to share them when I have enough posts ... alot of nature stuff makes good wal-paper.

Yes!!!!! Welcome! Art is an amazing and beautifull thing. Whenever I create something new I am encouraged to think of God and all of the wonderfull things he has created for us. Do have any idea what kind of Art you might want to do? Or what you may want to major in in art college? What area of the world woudl you be looking to go to or willing to go to for college?
I Noticed your little poland flag. I go to an art college in America and one of my art teachers is from Poland. HE's a really cool guy and knows tons about art. Art college has been one of the best experiences of my life and I hope you will have a simular joy for where you choose to go.
