:wave:HEY GOOD LOOKIN', WHAT'S COOKIN'??

Look now, here is a game,
and it isn't a shame
to dress up and just join in the fun.
Deep within you is a cook,
so just take a closer look,
'n come up with 'newest dishes in the town'!

This is a dress up contest, where you dress up as a cook and use all your creativity and come up with a recipe of your own (with a twist or two??). Do not copy a recipe from somewhere, but create one of your own. It may be real yummy, ''funny'', ''interesting'' or ''strange'', but it has to be only edible ingredients in it (no poison, please, lol).

I could need a couple of persons as judges, so please tell me if you want to be a judge.

The prizes are as follows:

1st prize 4,000 blessings
2nd prize 2,000 blessings
3rd prize 1,000 blessings
Honorable mention 500 blessings

The contest begins now and ends on Saturday Feb. 23rd EST.

I will take the screenshots.

Have fun and cook your hearts out, dear ones!!!

Sounds fun!I'll join!

my laptop is in case I need to check up on chefs around the world..lol

anyway heres my recipe for Fruit salad-

3-4 oranges
2 banana's (opp)
however many you like but one half of a pack will do-starwberries
1 pack of-blue berries
1(or more if you like) apple

chop up 3 of the oranges into little squares...but of course take off the skin..and put in a bowl. Then chop the banana's and put in bowl. Now use the juice from the other orange and squeeze it into the bowl......fun huh.....lol
Now you may need more than 4 oranges if you like it really juicy!:D
Now slice the starw berries as thin as you like and dump them in the bowl as well....now just dump the blue berries into the bowl.
Now chop the apple into squares and dump again into the bowl...lol

NOW you can enjoy a nice glass of cold ice water and Ice cream with that salad!

Enjoy~

Hello everyone and welcome to Thailand....This is not my home, but I thought it might be fun to share a recipe with you from here. It is not a Thai recipe, but I have seen something similar in Thai Restaurants. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients:
1lb. ground beef
1 med. bottle worstershire sauce
2 cups peeled and juliened carrots
1 cup thinly sliced celery
2 med. onions peeled and sliced
1 1/2 cups spring onions sliced (bulbs & stems)
2 med. green peppers seeded and sliced in 1/2 in pieces
2 cups broccolli florets
1 small head cabbage chopped in bite size pieces
8 oz. box of thin spagetti
1 1/2 teas. ground rosemary
1 1/2 teas. ground thyme
1 1/2 teas. ground parsley

Put carrots and celery in large pot and add worstershire sauce on high heat. Bring to boil then turn down heat to simmer and let steam for about 30 minutes.
Brown ground beef in med. size skillet and drain.
Start adding remaining vegetables to carrot and celery mixture. Onions, broccolli, peppers then cabbage.
Let cook on med. heat 20 minutes then add rosemary, thyme and parsley. Mix well and continue to cook until vegetables are tender.
Boil spagetti in lightly salted water until tender.
Add drained beef to vegetables and mix well.
Add cooked noodles to vegetable beef mixture and mix well.
( I always sprinkle a few drops of soy sauce over mine in bowl)
God bless everyone!

Wormie's Recipe for Choc-Banana Smoothie

(serves 1)

Take one banana, peel, chop roughly and place in blender. Add 3/4 of a cup of milk/soy alternative. Place two medium-to-generous scoops of vanilla ice-cream in blender, along with chocolate powder (Milo™ is a good option) to taste.* Blend until smooth, serve chilled.

(*A couple of fresh mint leaves, or a drop of mint flavouring essence is optional for a fresh twist! )

~ Wormie's serving suggestion - Serve in a tall glass, adorning with a sprig of fresh mint and a paper parasol for a sunny afternoon treat.

Homemade Tortilla Chips

Take a tortilla (I use whole wheat) and cut in half and then cut each half into pie like slices with a pizza cutter. They look triangular... Or cut however way you want. lol Nuke in microwave about a minute and a 1/2 or to taste. Dip into salsa of your choice. Healthy alternative to store bought tortilla chips.

Granny shuffles into the kitchen blurry eyed. It's wayyyy to early but the grandkids are screaming for pancakes. So she gets her not so secret pancake recipe out . . .

Pancakes:

Dump some Bisquick in a bowl.

Crack an egg. (If the shells get in the bowl pick them out and pray you got them all out.)

Pour in some milk.

If it's too runny dump in some more Bisquick.

Heat your cast iron skillet (if you can lift it to the stove).

Dump a little batter onto the pan.

Pretend it's in the shape of something special that you created just for the grandkid who is going to eat it.

Don't forget to flip it BEFORE it burns.

Try not to laugh when the grandkids are picking egg shells out of their teeth.

Ingredients:
Bob's Veggie Soup Mix
4 carrots
5 onions
3 kolrabi
3 stalks of celery
1 tunip
2 parsnips
1 15 oz. can of tomato sauce
Cajun Spice
Chillies dried
Oriental Spice
Garlic Powder

Preparation:

In a very large pot pour in 3/4 of the pot of water and about 1 cup of Bob's Veggie Soup Mix (full of grains, legumes and spice). Add generous amounts of the spices to your liking. Bring to a boil covered and then turn down to a half boil, uncover and cook for about 30 minutes. Next chop up all of the veggies (you can also chop them up while the soup mix is cooking) to the size you like and wash them too. Put them all in the pot and pour in the tomato sauce and mix. Bring it all to a boil. Turn it down to a half boil and cook for about 30 minutes or until all veggies are the consistency you like.

Pour into large bowls for each person. Have saltine crackers with the soup. Enjoy!
