The "players" are good at it because they don't really care about anyone but themselves - they don't know what its like to be toyed with. Its an unfortunate fact that many people fall for them.

Thats why they are players. I always said that if I were a sales manger I could stock my business with the best talent around. Just go out and recruit the biggest playboys in town. They are good about giving the females a perception of what they want until they get what they want - sex. And too many good women fall into the trap. THats because most of them have this "fairytale romance" complex and the players create the illusion that thats what they'll be getting. It may not look like that from the outside but remember you're not the one who's being played. Honestly I tried to be a player for only the goal of increasing my social standing. But I found that I was not a big enough creep and to succeed I would have to be patently unscupulous and have no concern for the women or their feelings. It's a double edged sword. If I succeeded in wiping out all conscience and morality then I could never experience the dual emotion and feelings that come with a deep intimate involvement with that person.
