I just saw it, and it is great!
One of, if not the most beautifully shot movie I have ever seen.
The story is unfolded very nicely, and touching.

Brlilliant movie. I prefer this to Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Really like how the story is told and the nice scenery.

I thought about buying it the first week it came out, while it was still cheap, then remembered how I saw Crouching Tiger and bought an Official Chinease version, but never really watched it again. I also bought the American version when it came out. Couldn't pass up a $6.00 deal.

I think I will rent Hero first and keep an eye out for a Blockbuster previewed DVD sale.

Of late? I think I saw this movie 2 years ago....

But if you want to skip the wire-work watch something like Ong-Bak. Really cool movie (speaking actions scenes here... not story) from Thailand. They say that they used no wires but still manage to pull of amazing stunts.

I just watched it again, and it is such a well made film.
The army is so impressive, especially with those arrows.
And even thou everyone did great in the movie, I felt that Snow, and the King of Qui were exceptional.

Snow was just down right sexy, with alot of attitude. And not just attitude, but the proper attitude for every part.
