Here we go again!

We are getting ready to start ttc #2. For #1 it took almost 3 years, a surgery and a round of shots to treat a medical problem.

We want to start trying now because we know it may be another long road. The first time was a long 3 years both mentally and physically. Now we know it is possible which I am hoping makes the wait easier this time.

I am wondering for people who dealt with infertility before #1, were you able to have more children and if so, was it easier or harder to concieve the 2nd time around.

I am only 7 weeks pregnant with # 1 so I don't know personally but I hear it's much easier to get pregnant with #2 because the body knows what it's doing. That's why so many women end up pregnant with # 2 so soon after #1 is born.

How old is your first?

Hopefully with the help of doctors and the knowledge you've gathered from the first time around you can get pregnant quicker and easier.

It could go either way. Some people have no problem the first time, but then have problems the second time... called secondary infertility. It could also be easy as pie.

we had twins the 1st time and like you we wanted more but decided to start when they were 10 mths old, thinking it would take a while. like the 1st time, plus we were getting older, so didn't want to waste the time incase...we got pregnant on the first try, of course with the help of the dr's....if you ever want to talk i am here.

Oh my goodness twins twice! That is so cool! The odds of that must be so small!

I am gearing up for another long wait but I think this time it will be easier. At least I know I can have a baby. Part of the agony the first time was wondering if it was even possible month after month. I don't know--maybe it is always hard.


Linnis--my little girl is 11 months. Congrats on your pregnancy. They are such blessings. All of the months of waiting and trying are so worth it!
