Okay here I am… I don’t know how to begin. I guess I should start from my religious background. I come from the Buddhist family where my parents and my brother are devoted to Buddhism. When I moved to an overseas country for studies I found out that there aren’t any temples to practice Buddhism. As a matter of fact I haven’t been to a temple in 10 years. So for that last 10 years I lived like as if I haven’t got a religion. When I moved overseas that it is to New Zealand, a lot of bad things started to happening to me…well it did started to happen when I was in my home country. However, I have been in New Zealand for 3 years so far I have made more enemies than friends. Some turn against me in my work place. This is because I work harder than them and my boss is pleased about my work and she given me more work. However, there is no cure for jealousy… .

The flat mates I have are not trustworthy, there change their attitudes all the time and sounds shifty when they speak. The reason I live in this flat is that it’s in a very convenient place and close to shops and university. I do a degree in software engineering where accuracy and efficiency is in higher demand and I lure on those two. Therefore I’m pretty much up to the point accurate and thrive for efficiency and I’m also a player of strategies and tactics. Well that’s a bit about me.

Every on says that I need to religion. Well I should have listened to them earlier. And there were so many signs I have seen such as one time there was a bible while I was walking to the dorm which I found on the stairwell on which 60 odd people walk on but none picked it up except me. I didn’t throw away the bible but I read it. However I had doubt weather it’s a good / bad to go to Christianity without getting baptized. When I left the dorm I left the bible in the room. So some one might read it.

Then I found saying of Jesus written on little stones where I work. There are type of rocks we put in ponds (decorative) and some one painted them in green and put them on flower vases so when some one comes to clean the flower vase (i.e. me) could read it.

The first stone I found says this-

“Along unfamiliar roads I will guide you I will turn the darkness in to light… I will NOT forsake you”

The second one I found the saying which I cannot remember. However, I believe that some one out there asking me to come to Christianity. What should I do? How I become a Christian?

Welcome to Christian Forums! We're blessed to have you here. I pray this site will bless you as you come to know who are better and I'm sure you'll find plenty of wonderful friends here.

Here are my suggestions. Check our the rules (http://www.christianforums.com/faq.p...les#faq_rule_0) first (so you know what is allowed), then head over to the Recreation Room and the Friendship Court and get to know some of our amazing members. We of course are here to pray for you, so please feel free to send your requests to our prayer request area and should you need any help, we have a Christian Advice for Christians and areas where non-Christians can recieve prayer and advice from other Christians.

We have alot to do here, so please take your time in learning about the site. And should you need any help, please feel free to send me a pm *you need 5 posts to send a pm* or you can ask a CF Welcome Angel for help as well (we have the floating angel icon under our member name, as well as a forum).

Take care and God bless! Whether or not you're a Christian, you are still very welcomed here... we love all (just like how Jesus Christ loves all).

Hi ChaCheer and welcome to CF  . The Holy Spirit is definitely coming after you. Here is how you become a Christian/receive Salvation:

First you must realize you are a sinner. Romans 3:23 says, "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". Now, if you truly believe you are a sinner then what? Well the Bible tells us that "the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23). This is talking about an eternal death. Everyone knows that EVERYONE physically dies eventually. This is not news and if it happens to absolutely everyone, there is nothing you can do about it so you shouldn't worry about it. BUT, this talks about an eternal death. A death of your soul (i.e. eternity in hell).

This is bleak looking but Jesus has paid our penalty. Romans 5:8 tells us, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." This is EXCITING news  . This gift of Salvation, it is free and not by any of our own works (We must accept it, it is not "thrust on us", but we don't earn it by doing good works. Salvation comes from the death and resurrection of Jesus, who is the Christ). "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Right now i think you are experiencing Revelation 3:20. Christ is talking and he says, "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me."

Now this is how you accept his free gift: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Romans 10:9-10):preach:

Then you will become a child of God and receive all the rights and benefits of an heir (eternal life, fellowship with the Father, life and not death, eternal rewards, etc) (John 1:12):amen:

Hope this helps and again Welcome to CF
