that site is misinformed and biased.
did you know that the Western reformation of the 16th century was actually the second Reformation of God's Church? (note that we often refer to the Church from the year 500 -1500 as ruled by Antichrist, &c. &c. forgetting that the Eastern Church continued to exist, defying the supremacy of the Pope) the first Reformation occurred when Christ died, rose again, and ascended into Heaven, establishing the Christian Church, and abolishing the rites and ceremonies of the Church of the Old Testament.
Hebrews 9:8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: 9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; 10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. 11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. 13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

I'm afraid I don't quite understand. Are you sating that the Roman Church was being ruled by the antichrist for 1,000 and the Eastern church was not?

If this site is really "misinformed and biased" then you'll have to give better examples than that.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean for it to sound like that was a criticism of it. I was merely stating a simple fact, it was meant to be an after-thought, not a justification of 'misinformed and biased.'
No, I'm not stating that any Church was ruled by Antichrist for any period of time. what i'm stating is that Protestants often talk about the 'hidden church' during the 'reign of Antichrist', forgetting that a Church not subject to the Pope existed in the east, and in Britain for many centuries.
Misinformed and biased? sorry, I was referring to the site about 'Pope Constantine', not to that particular page.
