"...ah now, are we not all like masks here anyway..." went the goblin not sure if that made much sense though, but then adding "...simply the persona is a projection of that alter-ego that is behind it, it's created from whatever one relates across the ether in words, for in truth there is no one here, no, all that is ever here are mere words upon your screen that you then formulate in beings, me as a goblin then, and you as a human I guess, though one can never tell can one, indeed you might not know which persona you are even...", at which point the goblin stopped, sipped his coffee, and then restarted "...yes, most people just think that they are on the inside too, exactly that which they see of themselves on the outside, the wendy type in other words, but the more you write the more you set yourself free so to speak becoming that peter pan type here instead...", and with that the goblin just grinned from the side of the crossroads that SayaOtonashi seemed to be standing upon, adding "...I'll be here when and if you need me, till then you'll write for us won't you I mean there are more readers here upon forumland than most elsewhere today and we do so lavish attention upon those we find interesting, yet rarely are they the wendy types between us..."

One tip: you ought to study some grammar books before you show the story to anyone.

The only thing is designing the costume because it takes place at Mardi Gras. I wanted an interesting costume but more on the theatrical side

the mask is probably the most authentic part of any individual that we see… its what we're allowed to see of any person unless they lose control of their persona or they come into their authentic selves… this is rare, thus the need for a mask… do you have a character that can interpret masks…. LOL.

Why wouldn't it make sense? This is your imagination and your story. So if you see a mask, then a mask makes since.
