  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Lately i have found myself pulling away from God. I dont know why.. my family is doin great and my friends are amazing. So I really dont have a reason to.. But im just so turned off by everything. My mom makes me do a Bible study each day..which is helping me! But i dont feel like im paying enough intention to what im reading! Please pray for me and pray that i get my life back on track! Thanks soo much!!

God there can be so many interferences in our lives when we try to seek you, sometimes those things can get in our way. Father i pray tonight for my friend who is having interferences get in her way. Give her clarity lord and peace in her mind. You alone know her hearts desires, father guide her back to you - fill her heart and soul with a fire that burns so brightly for you, that each day she will rise and worship you. Help her fight these thoughts that are keeping her from your side and give her a peace and courage to come back to you.

Father, I know that when things are going good for us we can often forget to thank you and lose our enthusiasm for your word and for speaking with you. Father, please forgive us for this and please help this child of God stay on the path with you by removing any obstacles and by showing her that you are close to her. I ask this in the name of your precious Son Jesus.

i am lifting you up in prayer. May God keep you in in his comforting arms and let you know how much he loves you. God is there even when you dont feel him. I see you are young so I suppose you study both in school and the Bible everyday.That can be to much Ecclesiastes 12:12 (I know I have been there ) Instead of study the Bible everyday you can meditate over things that have with God Proverbs 2:1 - 5 I`m intrested in the nature so I go out there and look on the creation and meditate what I have learned from my biblestudies and meetings etc.Job 38 - 39
Try to get a older sister ( for example 25 years old) that is strong in her`r faith to be you friend

Prayers little Sis. Faith is fluid, just as it was even amongst the original 12 Apostles (we all have moments of weaknesses). I will pray that you draw closer and closer to God as your Eternal Father Who loves you greater than any person on this earth can or will. God bless.
