  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I know of a girl who is dating a guy who is married and has 3 kids. Yeah. I know, pathetic. Well, this guys wife is pregnant with her new boyfriend's kid. This girl, has never been married before and she's all cloud 9 with him. They see each other every weekend. And at work. Thing is they both claim to be Christians and they both say that they are doing "nothing wrong"! Now, I happen to know this guy and what I know is the perverted side of him. He's a looker. I hate that. Apparently, with a thing coming up on Saturday and he's gonna be there. Any suggestions as to what I should do? This couple is driving me nuts by putting on their "holier than thou" act!

As hard as it may be, until they are ready to face the biblical reality of what they are doing, I would just abstain from any deep conversation. I would limit it to polite chit chat, and excuse yourself when possible, or when they wish to dwell on their relationship.

Ministry to them is probably just going to cause friction, until they are ready to really listen. Be there as a support person for your friend if the relationship fails. All of us are sinners and make mistakes, so don't shun her when she needs you most.
