Hi,

I was going to write an entry on the CreationWiki about TE views of Genesis, after that good article Vance had written. Then I thought, who better to write it than a TE?

So this is an invitation, probably in particular to vance, gluadys, and herev, to create the theistic evolution page for the creationwiki. This page is subject to editing by YEC's and TE's after it's created - hopefully the page will evolve and become more accurate over time. Consider yourself contributing the initial framework and main detail.

You will need to create a user, then simply click on "edit":

Hi, the article looks good, but it reads more like an argument. I was hoping more for a factual summary on TE and also, perhaps, a list on the various thinking on the subject - eg, historical ancestor, Adam & Eve as a type, etc.

Your article would be suited more to a defence page. ie, down the bottom of the page we have a link to 'Defence' and 'Objections' so that the two separate views can be listed. Those two pages will obviously be biased, while we can then keep the main TE page as unbiased as possible. What do you think?

It's actually a combination of two original pages. The first section is descriptive; the second is a defence of a non-literal defence of Genesis.

The second section starts with mention of the Yom Red Herring. I suggest snipping off this part for a seperate page.
